Part of our mission at IF is to serve the Atlanta Music community with a simple, free, and user friendly music room. Excellent environment for songwriters, jazz, acoustic musicians;
Good for just starting out, trying out new music, weekend musicians, or anyone wanting a no pressure spot for you and your friends
Our room is for local intown musicains only, no touring acts
There's never a cover, bands play for tips and CD sales
We're non-profit; the crowd is totally for your benefit, and only there at your invitation
No real restricitions on style; best fit is acoustic, unplugged, blues, or jazz;
Room is very small so volume can be an issue.
Bands are OK but stage is small
Electric keyboards and guitars are OK at appropriate volume
Drum kits are OK but drummers should bring appropriate equipment for small room
We have PA and the room sounds pretty good
